This policy explains how EXPEDIA BG LTD handles personal data when you visit this website or send a transport enquiry.
Who is responsible
The controller is EXPEDIA BG LTD, Bulgarian company ID (EIK) 207555693, address: 4 Arh. Ivan Danchov St., Sofia, Bulgaria. For questions and rights requests: elenafront@gmail.com, telephone +359 899 293 214.
Information we receive
The form collects the route, cargo description, email and phone number, plus the selected service if provided. We also record the enquiry language, date and reference number, and receive subsequent correspondence. Please do not include national identification numbers, health information or other sensitive data in the cargo description.
To prevent abuse, the system processes technical information, including the IP address and protected hash values used to limit repeated requests. The hosting provider may maintain access and security logs.
Purposes and legal bases
We use the information to reply, clarify the shipment and prepare a quote. Where you are a prospective contracting party, the basis is taking steps at your request before a contract under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Where you represent a business, our basis is the legitimate interest in handling business enquiries and communicating with its representatives under Article 6(1)(f).
Security and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the site and correspondence. Applicable legal obligations use Article 6(1)(c); necessary legal claims use Article 6(1)(f). The form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not profile visitors or make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
The form fields are needed for an initial assessment and follow-up. You cannot submit it without them; you can also contact us by phone or email. An enquiry does not itself constitute a confirmed transport order.
Who may receive the information
Access is available to authorised people handling the enquiry and technical service providers according to their roles. The site uses SuperHosting for hosting and sends notifications to the working address elenafront@gmail.com through Google Gmail. When preparing or carrying out transport, necessary information may be shared with the relevant carriers and other participants; contact details are limited to what is needed.
Google may process information outside the European Economic Area under its terms and applicable international transfer mechanisms. We do not state that email correspondence is stored only in the EU. Google publishes information about these mechanisms at the link below; you may ask us for further information about the applicable safeguards.
Retention and protection
For enquiries that do not lead to a contract, retention is determined by the time needed to prepare and discuss the quote and conclude related correspondence. Once this need ends, the data is due for deletion unless a specific legal obligation or legal claim requires retention. For concluded contracts, applicable accounting obligations and claims periods are considered; different documents may have different retention periods.
Enquiries are stored outside the website’s public directory with restricted access. The controller manages deletion of the relevant records and correspondence copies. Backups and technical logs are managed according to the purpose and settings of the services. You can ask about the retention period and grounds for keeping a specific enquiry.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable conditions, you have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your circumstances. Send requests to elenafront@gmail.com. We normally respond within one month and notify you within that period if a permitted extension is needed.
You may complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), cpdp.bg, or another competent supervisory authority.
